A report that was published on the official X account of Daily Post on Saturday, June 13, 2026 has captured the moment, the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi was explaining what he will do as President.
In the report that surfaced online, the former governor of Anambra state said if he becomes the President of Nigeria, he will release the leader of the indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi.
The former governor of Anambra state said Nnamdi Kanu has has not done anything wrong to the government and for that reason, he shouldn’t have been imprisoned. He said as a politician, people have been insulting him and he doesn’t see it as an offense.
According to Daily Post, Nnamdi Kanu said that;
“I will free Nnamdi Kanu as President, he has done nothing wrong, the government has no reason to arrest him because he was speaking and calling people names on radio. It doesn’t make sense”.
