The experienced midfielder was pivotal for Serie A side Atalanta during the 2025/2026 football season where he scored a total of three goals and created two assists in 41 appearances in all competitions, helping his side to 7th position on the table.
His excellent performances in midfield is believed to have attracted interests and according to reports from popular transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United football club are keen on signing Ederson when the transfer window opens.
The reports further claimed that Manchester United football club are really interested in signing Ederson from Atalanta and the Serie A side are now asking €45million transfer fee from the Premier League giants ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is believed that Manchester United football club are making plans for life after Casemiro who is on the verge of joining American side Inter Miami and the Old Trafford side have now identified Ederson as a needed addition to the team.
But with Atalanta demanding up to €45million for Ederson, it remains to be seen if Manchester United football club will be able to pay the transfer fee and secure the transfer of the experienced Ederson as the ideal replacement for the departing Casemiro.
