A viral video which captured the moment a large crowd was celebrating the victory of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Oluwole Oluyede in his polling unit has surfaced online.
Premium Times posted the video on its official X account on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The video surfaced on the day of the governorship election in Ekiti state.
This came after the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party was announced as the winner of his polling unit in Osagbaru Hall, Oke Oloti, Ward 03, Ugele Arokun in Ikere Ekiti.
In the video that surfaced online, after the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC announced Oluwole Oluyede as the winner of the polling unit, the people were seen shouting and jumping.
