According to a report by The Times Of Israel on June 4, 2026, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, has condemned Iranian attacks that targeted Bahrain and reaffirmed Riyadh’s full solidarity with Manama.
Prince Faisal conveyed this position during a telephone conversation with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, in which he reiterated the kingdom’s backing for any steps Manama may adopt to safeguard its security, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens.
The two ministers also reviewed what they described as dangerous regional developments, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts to maintain security and stability across the region, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry.
Riyadh underscored its continued commitment to strengthening Gulf cooperation and maintaining collective security among Gulf Cooperation Council states amid rising tensions in the region. The Saudi foreign minister’s remarks reflected growing concern over cross-border escalation and its potential impact on regional stability, while reiterating the importance of diplomatic communication between allied countries.
