Sheikh Ahmad Abubakar Mahmoud Gumi has urged the Federal Government to adopt dialogue, amnesty, and rehabilitation for repentant bandits and secessionist agitators instead of relying mainly on military operations.
According to Daily Post on Friday, speaking at a press conference in Kaduna on Friday, the Islamic cleric said Nigeria’s force-based approach to tackling insecurity has not produced the desired results after many years.
