The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned politicians and supporters against investing heavily in the fortunes of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the next Osun governorship election.
Speaking on the political landscape in Osun State, Ayodele declared that the ADC is not a major contender in the race, insisting that the real battle will be between the Accord Party and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the cleric, those backing the ADC should reconsider their expectations, as he does not see the party making a significant impact in the election.
“ADC is out of it; Don’t waste your money; The election is between the Accord Party and APC,” Ayodele stated.
He further urged political stakeholders to pay close attention to emerging developments within the two parties, noting that the contest could become highly competitive as the election approaches.
Ayodele maintained that the dynamics of the Osun governorship race would favor the Accord Party and the APC, while other parties may struggle to gain meaningful ground.
