Ousmane Dembele provides an encouraging update on his injury ahead of the final against Arsenal, as stated by Metro Sport.

Ousmane Dembele is confident he will be ready for Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League final match against Arsenal later this month.

The French player experienced a worrying injury during PSG’s last Ligue 1 game of the season against Paris FC, leaving the field after just 27 minutes.

Dembele was also not present at training on Wednesday, raising concerns leading up to the final in Budapest on May 30.

However, the attacker has quickly assured fans that the issue is only a minor one.

“I’m feeling great,” Dembele told RMC Sport.

“I had a little scare in the game against Paris FC, but I’m okay, and I will be prepared for the final.

“Will I be completely fit? Yes, without a doubt. I have full confidence in it, and I aim to be on the field on May 30.”

The 2026 Ballon d’Or winner has been one of PSG’s key players this season, netting 19 goals and making 11 assists in 39 matches across all tournaments.

Among those goals, seven were scored in the Champions League, including three during the two semi-final games against Bayern Munich.

Dembele acknowledged that his previous injury difficulties have made him more careful during crucial parts of the season.

“I’ve faced many injury concerns throughout my career,” he said.

“With a final coming up, I chose to stop right away to avoid any risks.”

The ex-Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona winger posed significant challenges for Arsenal in last season’s Champions League semi-final, scoring in the first leg as PSG defeated Mikel Arteta’s team 3-1 on aggregate.

PSG is also hopeful that Achraf Hakimi will recover in time for the final after missing recent games due to a muscle injury he sustained in the semi-final against Bayern Munich.
