BREAKING: North Central Governors Hold Emergency Meeting, Gov Sule and Abba Kabir in Attendance [Photos]

Chairman of the North Central Governors Forum and Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi A. Sule, alongside the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, joined other governors at the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) meeting held in Abuja to deliberate on critical regional issues.

According to a media post by Governor Sule on Monday, March 30, 2026, the gathering provided a platform for northern governors to engage in meaningful discussions and adopt strategies aimed at addressing insecurity and promoting unity.

It was revealed that the meeting focused on matters affecting peace, stability, and development across Northern Nigeria, with particular emphasis on tackling rising security challenges confronting the region.

The session was chaired by the Governor of Gombe State and Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

The meeting highlights the commitment of state governors to strengthen collaboration and pursue coordinated efforts in ensuring peace, safeguarding lives and property, and advancing socio-economic development across Northern Nigeria.
