BREAKING: “Leaving ADC Means Working for Tinubu” — Okonkwo Fires Warning Shot at Obi Camp

Veteran Nollywood actor and politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has said any decision by Peter Obi to leave the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would signal alignment with President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Okonkwo reacted to speculations that Obi could exit the party if he fails to secure its presidential ticket. He argued that any aspirant who walks away from the ADC amid its current internal struggles should be seen as compromised.

According to him, all major contenders are facing the same challenges within the coalition, so leaving instead of staying to fight it out raises questions. He went further to suggest that such a move would imply the individual is indirectly working in Tinubu’s interest.

Obi, who ran as the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in 2023, remains one of the top figures eyeing the ADC ticket. Other notable names in the race include Atiku Abubakar and Chibuike Amaechi.

Meanwhile, Atiku has already stated in a separate interview that he is willing to support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate, whether through consensus or the primaries.
