The Presidency has backed the statement that was made by Remi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was contained in a video that was posted on the official X handle of Nigerian Tribune on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
This is coming after Remi Tinubu listed some businesses that people can establish with small capital.
In the video that surfaced online, Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Public Communication stated that Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote started as a trader. The presidential aide insisted that selling of Akara is a lucrative business that people can venture into.
Sunday Dare said Remi Tinubu wants everyone to engage in any enterprise that is profitable.
According to Sunday Dare;
“Go and read Dangote’s story and see where he started from, he also started as a trader. The point she’s trying to make is that people should be engaged in an enterprise”.
