BREAKING: Iran Is Having A Very Hard Time Figuring Out Who Their Leader Is, They Just Don’t Know: Trump Says

According to a report by The Times of Israel, US President Donald Trump has said he is pleased by what he describes as internal divisions in Iran, arguing that the situation has delayed Tehran from responding to a proposed permanent ceasefire agreement between the two countries, according to his posts on the social media platform Truth Social.

“In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Iran is having a very hard time figuring out who their leader is! They just don’t know!” The US president’s comments come amid reports that Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has not been seen publicly since taking office, with claims that he was severely injured in a strike that killed his father.

Despite this, reports suggest that hardline elements within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are still making key decisions in Tehran. Meanwhile, parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who have been tasked with negotiations with the United States, are described as more open to reaching a deal, according to the same reports.

Trump also wrote on Truth Social that internal divisions between hardliners and more moderate voices have intensified, saying: “The infighting is between the ‘hardliners’ who have been losing BADLY on the battlefield, and the ‘moderates,’ who are not very moderate at all (but gaining respect!), is CRAZY!”

He further claimed: “We have total control over the Strait of Hormuz. No ship can enter or leave without the approval of the United States Navy. It is sealed up tight until such time as Iran is able to make a DEAL!”

According to the White House schedule, Trump has three hours of “executive time” this morning, a period often set aside for informal work including posting on Truth Social and taking calls from journalists.

The White House has also said that internal disagreements in Iran have prevented Tehran from producing a unified response to the latest ceasefire proposal, leading Trump to extend a truce that was due to expire earlier this week indefinitely. this morning’s schedule outlined by the White House for the day.
