Nigerian cleric, Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, cautioning that international scrutiny, particularly from the United States, may increase over alleged concerns linked to insecurity and what he described as “genocide-related issues” in Nigeria.
In his latest message, Ayodele said he foresees a situation where global attention on Nigeria’s internal security challenges could become more pronounced within the coming weeks, specifically “this month and next month.”
He warned that if not properly managed, the situation could attract stronger diplomatic reactions and put additional pressure on the Nigerian government from international partners.
According to him, the development calls for urgent and strategic response from the authorities, especially in terms of communication, diplomacy, and internal security management.
Ayodele stressed that his message should be understood as a spiritual warning aimed at encouraging preventive action, rather than a politically motivated statement; He added that sensitive national issues require careful handling to avoid misinterpretation on the global stage.
He further urged President Tinubu’s administration to strengthen engagement with international stakeholders and ensure that Nigeria’s security concerns are addressed in a way that prevents escalation or external condemnation.
The cleric also advised security agencies and policymakers to remain proactive, emphasizing that unity, justice, and effective governance are key factors in reducing tensions and improving Nigeria’s international image.
