Leandro Trossard has confirmed a personal development in his private life after it was revealed that he and his wife have separated following nearly 13 years together, according to Daily Mail.
The announcement was made publicly by his wife, Laura Hilvern, who stated that the couple had been “separated for some time” before deciding to make the situation public. She explained that the decision was reached amicably and with mutual respect, adding that both parties had taken time privately to adjust before confirming the news.
Trossard, who plays for Arsenal FC, had been in a long-term relationship with Hilvern that began well before his rise in European football. The pair eventually married in 2019 and share two children together, with their relationship spanning much of his professional career.
The Belgian forward’s journey in football saw him develop from his early years into a Premier League regular, first with Brighton & Hove Albion, where he joined in 2019, before securing a move to Arsenal in 2023.
