Former Attorney General of Benue State, Alex Adum, has stepped forward to clear the air. Speaking in a recent interview with Channels Television, Adum insisted that the party must follow facts and law, not “rumours or sentiments,” to settle the internal fight.
The heat of the matter is a resignation document that some claim was forged. However, Adum revealed that they didn’t just take it at face value; they conducted a proper forensic handwriting analysis.
“When Nafiu Bala filled that form, he did it with his own hand,” Adum stated firmly. He explained that the experts compared the document with Bala’s known writing, and the results matched perfectly.

Adum urged everyone to calm down and let the courts do their job, especially as the 2027 political season draws near. He noted that the rule of law is the only way to bring peace back to the ADC.
