According to a report by Nigerian Tribune on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Donald Trump, President of the United States, has once again invoked the phrase “Praise be to Allah” while asserting that Iran is moving rapidly toward becoming a failed state amid worsening tensions between Washington and Tehran.

The remarks were made in a post published on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday, where he discussed the impact of U.S. measures against the Islamic Republic.

In the post, Trump directed criticism at what he referred to as the “Fake News Media,” accusing news organizations of failing to accurately report the extent of pressure being placed on Iran by the United States.

He argued that media coverage had not reflected the effectiveness of American actions aimed at restricting Iran’s economic activities and weakening its financial position.

The U.S. president also highlighted what he described as the success of a naval blockade targeting Iranian ports.

According to Trump, the operation has significantly limited Iran’s ability to conduct international trade and maintain normal economic transactions.

He portrayed the blockade as a decisive measure that has strengthened Washington’s efforts to exert pressure on Tehran.

Trump further claimed that the restrictions imposed on Iran had severely affected the country’s economy.

He stated that commercial activities had been disrupted and maintained that the Iranian government was struggling to meet key financial obligations.

His comments suggested that the economic consequences of the measures were becoming increasingly difficult for Tehran to manage.

The president went on to argue that Iran’s financial difficulties were extending beyond trade concerns.

He asserted that the government was unable to adequately support its military and was facing challenges in settling other outstanding expenses.

Trump used these claims to reinforce his argument that the country was experiencing a deepening economic and political crisis.

While emphasizing the impact of the U.S. campaign against Iran, Trump also noted that oil exports were continuing despite the restrictions.

He nevertheless maintained that the broader economic pressure being applied by Washington was producing significant results.

His remarks formed part of a wider narrative in which he has repeatedly argued that U.S. actions have weakened Iran’s ability to sustain itself economically.

He said: “Nothing gets through unless we want it to. It is a steel wall! Iran is doing zero business, not paying their military, or any of their bills, and quickly becoming a failed nation! Lots of oil is getting out. Praise be to Allah!”
