Aloy Ejimakor, legal consultant to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has expressed gratitude the Igbos for always supporting Kanu.
Ejimakor expressed the appreciation in a post on his verified X handle on Thursday.
His comment follows Kanu’s recent conviction and sentencing to life imprisonment.
The lawyer stressed that the November 20, 2025 judgment was an indictment on the whole Igbo people, and not on Kanu as an individual.
DAILY POST recalls that Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja, convicted and sentenced Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment.
“Even as I had publicly and severally done this in the past, let me again thank Ndigbo (leaders and the led, at home and in diaspora) for the fraternity and support you’ve extended to Nnamdi Kanu since this ordeal began in 2015. It proves that Igbos are united behind Kanu. Yes,” he wrote.
