A young man has tragically lost his life in Morana village, Uttar Pradesh, India, after being bitten by a snake he attempted to capture for just £5 (₹443).
The victim, identified as Mohit, was reportedly asked to trap the reptile inside a sack bag. A video circulating online shows Mohit standing in the middle of a crowded room, with the snake dangerously coiled around his neck and hand.
Eyewitnesses revealed that bystanders repeatedly warned him to stop, but he ignored the advice and proceeded to grab the snake. Moments later, the reptile struck, sinking its fangs into him.
