Tinubu taking decisive steps to secure Nigeria – Lagos APC

Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday said Nigeria is taking concrete, historic steps to secure Nigeria and restore national stability amid the heightened insecurity.

The spokesman of the arm arm of APC, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, said Tinubu declared a State of Emergency on Security, in a bold move showing zero tolerance for terror, sabotage, and criminality.

In a statement he signed, Oladejo said the president’s approval for the recruitment of an additional 20,000 new police officers, bringing the total fresh intake under his administration to an extraordinary 50,000 personnel, shows his determination to secure Nigeria.

He noted that the current recruit spree is the single largest security expansion in recent history.

According to Oladejo, recent developments has shown that Tinubu is taking decisive actions.

He said: “Unlike the empty talkers masquerading as statesmen, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is taking concrete, historic steps to secure Nigeria and restore national stability.

“He has declared a State of Emergency on Security – a bold, unprecedented move that signals zero tolerance for terror, sabotage, and criminality.

“He has approved the recruitment of an additional 20,000 new police officers, bringing the total fresh intake under his administration to an extraordinary 50,000 personnel – the single largest security expansion in recent history.

“These are not cosmetic gestures. These are strategic, far-reaching actions by a President who refuses to surrender one inch of Nigerian territory to terrorists or their political sponsors.

“While the opposition sells fear, President Tinubu delivers capacity. While they whine abroad, he strengthens Nigeria at home.”
