In a recent prophetic message shared on his official Facebook page from 3:59, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, spoke on the international interest surrounding Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election. The cleric, who is widely known for his bold predictions on political matters, said foreign powers, particularly the United States, will play a significant role in shaping the outcome of the election.
According to him, “It’s not Peter Obi yet, but the Americans are going to support either Atiku or Goodluck Jonathan.” Ayodele explained that the Labour Party’s presidential candidate from 2023, Peter Obi, is not the one the international community will rally behind at this time. Instead, he stated that the U.S. is showing signs of backing either former Vice President Atiku Abubakar or former President Goodluck Jonathan in the contest.

Ayodele further cautioned that the involvement of foreign powers in Nigeria’s elections could alter the political balance in ways that many do not expect. He warned that leaders should not take such prophecies lightly, urging politicians to be spiritually and strategically prepared for what lies ahead.
The cleric also called on Nigerians to pray for the stability of the country as it moves toward another critical election season. He emphasized that international support, while potentially helpful for candidates, may also come with challenges that could affect Nigeria’s sovereignty and unity.
His remarks have since sparked reactions among political observers, with some agreeing that global powers always play a role in Nigerian politics, while others dismissed it as speculation.
