Killings In Nigeria: RCCG Pastor, Enoch A. Adeboye Drops Bible Verses On What Christians Should Do

The year 2022 recorded a lot of killings across the country as a large number of them are allegedly associated with religious beliefs. However, the Nigerian televangelist who is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye has again, addressed this issue.

The pastor who was speaking on “Going Higher Part 61” today via a live broadcast on his verified Facebook handle, revealed where Christians are lacking behind when it comes to persecution of the church. He also dropped some Bible verses on what Christians should do from now.

Pastor E. A. Adeboye: “Like I have said before, you have to fight a good fight of faith to set the captives free in Nigeria because life is war. As the Father sent His son, so He sent us. In Mathew 10:7-8, we are to preach the Kingdom of God; which is another way of depopulating the other kingdoms. Those who escaped Isaiah’s sword, fell into Elisha’s sword. That means the army of God is Team Work.

“In Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, two are better than one. Why? In case one falls, the other we support but when you have three of them, oh, it becomes unbreakable. In Mathew 18:19-20, God told us that where two or more are gathered in His name, He will be there. Soldiers of Christ, you can’t do it alone, you need prayer partners to triumph in Nigeria in the amidst of all these killings. There are some wars you can’t just fight alone.

“The wisest thing to do when you want to go to war is by consulting the captain, asking him for direction. In 2 Samuel 5:18-25, King David sought for God’s direction before going to war. God is the owner of war-winning methodologies. That is why God is our Captain according to Joshua 6”.

He concluded by advising Christians to apply wisdom when they appear in regions where their faith is threatened as he cited when Abraham disguised himself in Egypt to avoid been killed for Sarah, his wife, was very pretty.
