Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has broken silence on the viral video showing two men lifting his wife, actress Mo Bimpe.
Naija News reports that she was carried during the premiere of her movie, ‘Healing’ in Lagos.
The event, which attracted many Nollywood stars, became the centre of online debate after the short clip surfaced on social media.
The video showed Mo Bimpe laughing as two male guests playfully lifted her in the presence of her husband.
Lateef, who appeared to be speaking with other guests, quickly turned toward them with a serious look and approached the men, sparking speculations that he was upset about the gesture.

Following the reactions online, the actor later explained that the incident was simply a playful moment that took place during the celebration.
He shared that the men involved were his friends, and the act was never meant to cause any form of disrespect.
Adedimeji also said that the video had been taken out of context and that the entire event was filled with joy and excitement.
He joked that the men would be in trouble if they ever repeated such an act.
