Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, the Honourable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, has resigned from his position following allegations that he falsified his university certificates.
Nnaji’s resignation comes shortly after President Bola Tinubu summoned him to the Presidential Villa to respond to reports questioning the authenticity of his academic qualifications. The minister reportedly stepped down amid mounting public scrutiny and calls from civil society groups for accountability.
