According to a report by the Times of Israel on Wednesday June 10, 2026, US President Donald Trump has indicated that further military action against Iran remains a possibility, suggesting that key infrastructure could become future targets if negotiations continue to stall.
Speaking in a phone interview cited by Fox News, Trump said he was considering additional strikes, including against Iranian power facilities and bridges. According to him, Tehran had previously been given an opportunity to reach an agreement that could have prevented the current escalation.
The remarks came only hours after Trump used his Truth Social platform to accuse Iran of dragging out negotiations. He argued that the country had delayed reaching what he described as a favorable deal and warned that consequences would follow.
Tensions have risen sharply since overnight US strikes on Iranian targets, which Washington said were carried out in response to the downing of an American military helicopter. Iran later retaliated by launching attacks against several US military installations across the region.
While diplomatic efforts have not been formally abandoned, Trump’s latest comments suggest the White House is keeping military options firmly on the table as the confrontation with Tehran continues to unfold.
