
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has approved the appointment of new Permanent Secretaries to strengthen the state’s civil service and enhance policy implementation.
The announcement was contained in a circular dated September 23, 2025, signed by the Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, with reference number CIR/HOS/’25/Vol.I/069.
The circular, addressed to top government functionaries including the Deputy Governor, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, the Chief Judge, Commissioners, and Local Government Chairpersons, explained that the move was aimed at “reinvigorating the state’s policy implementation apparatus” and boosting service delivery.
