BREAKING: Lagos APC Dismisses ADC’s Claim of Tinubu One-Term Presidency as Idle Talk

The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed claims made by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The APC described the ADC’s assertion that President Bola Tinubu will serve only one term in office as laughable.

Reacting on Wednesday, Lagos APC spokesman, Seye Oladejo, described the ADC as an association of serial defectors on “political life support” with no chance of survival in Nigeria’s political landscape.

According to him, “APC notes with utter amusement the latest daydream from the tottering ADC, now parading itself as a credible voice in Nigeria’s democracy.”

Oladejo insisted that the ADC lacked the capacity to win elections at the national level and should not be taken seriously.

“Their claim that President Tinubu will be a one-term President is nothing but idle talk from a party that has never tasted power at the center and is unlikely to do so in this lifetime,” he said.

He maintained that President Tinubu had only just begun laying the foundation for Nigeria’s growth.

“President Tinubu has only just begun the hard work of resetting Nigeria on the path of sustainable growth and progress.

“Nigerians are already seeing bold, people-oriented policies that lesser leaders have shied away from for decades,” Oladejo added.

He argued that recent by-election victories across the country were a strong vote of confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.

“Those victories were not only a referendum on the Tinubu government but also an overwhelming vote of confidence by Nigerians,” he stated.

Urging Nigerians to ignore the ADC, the APC spokesman concluded: “No amount of idle chatter from the ADC can derail the historic mandate and steady leadership of President Tinubu.

“He is consolidating a legacy that generations will reckon with.”
