The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, will emerge victorious in the forthcoming governorship election.
Speaking on the political outlook of the state, Ayodele said the incumbent governor currently enjoys a strong position ahead of the poll and is likely to secure another term in office.
The cleric, however, advised Oyebanji to remain cautious of internal political challenges and individuals within his circle who could undermine his re-election bid; He urged the governor to stay focused and address any issues that could threaten his chances at the polls.
Ayodele’s prediction comes as political activities intensify across Ekiti State ahead of the governorship election, with major parties making final efforts to win the support of voters.
The election will determine whether Oyebanji receives a fresh mandate to continue leading the state for another four years.
