Carabao Cup 2025 Quarter-Finals: Arsenal, Manchester City Draw EPL Opponents
English Premier League clubs, Arsenal and Crystal Palace have been paired to face each other in what promises to be one of the most exciting ties of the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
The draw, conducted live on Sky Sports Main Event on Wednesday night, came shortly after Newcastle United sealed a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester City will host Brentford at the Etihad Stadium, while Chelsea travels to face second-tier club Cardiff City. Reigning Carabao Cup holders Newcastle United will welcome Fulham to St James’ Park as they continue their title defence.

The draw was handled by Sky Sports presenter Mark Chapman alongside pundits Jamie Redknapp and Jobi McAnuff.
All quarter-final matches are scheduled for the week beginning December 15. Among them, Arsenal’s clash with Palace is already shaping up to be a must-watch encounter, following Palace’s stunning 3-0 victory over Liverpool in the previous round.
Round Four served up plenty of drama across the board. Arsenal eased past Brighton 2-0, while Crystal Palace shocked Liverpool at Anfield.
Chelsea narrowly edged Wolves 4-3 in a goal-packed contest, Manchester City rallied to beat Swansea 3-1, and Newcastle brushed aside Tottenham 2-0.
