ARD-FCTA suspends indefinite strike – Daily Post Nigeria

The Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory Administration (ARD-FCTA), has suspended its indefinite strike for four weeks.

ARD-FCTA President, Dr. George Ebong, disclosed this to DAILY POST in a terse statement on Monday.

The association expressed hope that all approvals granted by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, including improved welfare for doctors, will be implemented by the administration.

“ARD-FCTA has suspended its strike for four weeks with the hope that the approvals from Mr. Minister will be implemented,” Ebong stated.

The suspension of the ARD-FCTA strike comes barely 24 hours after the National Association of Resident Doctors suspended its industrial action, which commenced on November 1, 2025.
