According to Mirror Football, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has the full support of the club management, even if the Premier League season has gotten off to a bumpy start. Questions over his future became more pressing following a string of poor performances that included losses to Brighton and Manchester United, as well as a Champions League exit at the hands of Bayern Munich and a thrilling Carabao Cup thriller against Lincoln City.
After Brighton’s 3-1 loss to Chelsea, the club’s locker room was visited by sports directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, as well as co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali.
