VDM, in a video that surfaced on social media posted called on young Nigerians to indulge in community clean-up exercises, which according to the self acclaimed activist will begin Saturday, November 29, 2025.
According to him, the goal is to address environmental challenges and inspire patriotism among Nigerian youths.
“Starting from the 29th of November, 2025, which will be on a Saturday, we the Ratel Movement are taking over Nigeria. We are shutting down this country,” VDM said in the video. He clarified that the “shutdown” was not about violence but about impact.
