Ayodele Reveals What God Advised Jonathan to Do to Succeed

In a recent video on YouTube, Popular cleric and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised former President Goodluck Jonathan to earnestly seek God’s direction before making any decision to return to active politics.

Speaking during a prophetic session, Ayodele noted that Jonathan’s political future remains uncertain and warned that rushing into the 2027 race without divine guidance could lead to regret. He emphasized that only God has the final say on whether the former president should contest again.

“Jonathan should seek the face of God if he wants to come out. Let him take the face of God, because at a point I don’t want him to regret,” Ayodele cautioned. “As a matter of fact, Jonathan will come out, but only God can say, ‘Jonathan don’t come out.’”

The cleric explained that Jonathan remains a respected figure in Nigerian politics, but stressed that the political terrain ahead of 2027 is complex and fraught with challenges. According to him, the former president’s possible re-entry into the race would shake up alignments across major parties, yet it could also expose him to political manipulation and disappointment if not spiritually guided.

Ayodele, known for his political prophecies, further warned that some political stakeholders may attempt to use Jonathan’s influence for their own interests rather than for the good of the nation. He urged the former president to be cautious and prayerful in weighing his options.

The statement comes amid ongoing debates about Jonathan’s relevance in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape, especially with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) already strategizing for 2027.

Observers note that Ayodele’s message reflects both the high stakes of Nigeria’s next general elections and the moral weight carried by Jonathan’s potential candidacy.

For Ayodele, the ultimate counsel is clear: Jonathan’s political destiny should not be determined by human pressure but by divine instruction.
