The Osun State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has announced the assumption of duty by Olayinka Joel Fadile as its new State Commander.
A statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Esther Fadare, on Friday, confirmed that the new commander was formally received on November 24, 2025.
According to the statement, “Commander Fadile took over from CN Oluwarotimi Lawal Adetula, who previously held the position.”
The NDLEA noted that the new posting became effective on November 17, 2025, following internal deployments within the agency.
In the statement made available to DAILY POST, Fadare said, “Today, 24th November 2025, the NDLEA Osun State Command officially received its newly posted State Commander, Commander Olayinka Joel Fadile.”
She added that the appointment followed established procedures for redeployment within the organisation.
The NDLEA described the new commander as “a seasoned and well-grounded anti-narcotics veteran with experience in leading operations.”
The statement revealed that Fadile previously served as the State Commander of the NDLEA Oyo State Command.
It added that his new assignment in Osun State aligns with the agency’s operational objectives and strategic leadership transitions.
