Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday, convened a high-level session of the Lagos State Security Council to assess ongoing security developments across the state.
The governor reaffirmed that maintaining stability and public safety remains a top priority for his administration, noting that Lagos will continue to adopt proactive strategies to safeguard lives and property.

“Today, I met with the State Security Council to take a closer look at our security situation and ensure we are responding with clarity and good judgment,” he wrote.
He added that the peace enjoyed by residents must be preserved at all costs, stressing that the council’s deliberations reflected a shared resolve to prevent threats before they escalate.
“Protecting the peace of Lagos is non-negotiable. I valued the honest conversations around the table and the shared commitment to protecting the peace of our state.
